Illustrators Annual
The premier showcase for illustrators, the Annual features the year’s best works. Open to artists worldwide, entries are considered by a jury.

The Original Art
An annual exhibit created to showcase illustrations from the year’s best children’s books published in the U.S.

Members Open

These awards recognize the most outstanding work on view at the festival and is open to all artists tabling.

The Society is excited to announce a new holiday tradition based on the popular centuries-old European open-air markets. Talented creators sell their crafts throughout the museum.

Hamilton King Award
Honoring the best work in the Illustrators Annual executed by a member of the Society of Illustrators. 

The OA Lifetime Achievement Award
Recognizing artists whose body of work contributes to the field of children’s book illustration.

Hall of Fame
The Society elects to its Hall of Fame artists recognized for their distinguished achievement in the art of illustration.

Richard Gangel Award
Honors art directors currently working in the field who have supported and advanced the art of illustration. 

Distinguished Educator in the Arts
Honors an educator who has impacted the field of illustration as both a teacher and artist.
