Xenomorph Attack
Medium: digital (Adobe Illustrator vectors / Corel Painter bitmap detail)

Part of the Aliens Artbook, the image plays on the claustrophobic nature of the Xenomorph attacks. Based on a straight to vector illustration, the vectors are brought into Photoshop not only as separate depth layered elements, but also as selection paths. These paths are then used to contain and mask grain details created in Corel Painter.
