CITY HALL
Medium: Scratchboard, colorized digitally
Cover for a signature chocolate box celebrating the architectural heritage of Stratford, Ontario, Canada. This is Stratford’s City Hall, designed in Victorian “Queen Anne Revival Style.” Construction began in 1898 and the first Council meeting was held in 1900. Snowy Owls spend spring in the Arctic, where they breed, but move farther south in winter because the hunting is better. They can be spotted in Stratford on telephone poles and in the snow-covered fields where they look like little snowmen.
