Every year since 1981, the Society of Illustrators has recognized top students throughout the world through an exhibit, catalog, reception, and scholarship awards. Now is your chance to have your best students represent your school and gain the attention from our visitors including publishers, designers, art directors, curators and art buyers.

This competition is only open to Undergraduate Department Chairs / Administrators who are interested in entering student work. Department chairs / Administrators please email jordan@societyillustrators.org to request this year’s informational Call for Entries packet.

Entry fees are $8 for Educator Members / $10 for Non-Members.

Eligibility

  • This competition is only open to Undergraduate Department Chairs / Administrators who are interested in entering student work.
  • Must currently be an undergraduate student who is a matriculating arts major in an accredited art school, college or university. High school students and graduate students are NOT eligible.
  • Entries must be submitted in group form by schools only, NOT by individual students.
  • Each student and school may submit as many entries as they wish.
  • Work must have been created within this academic year (January 2023 – January 2024).
  • Works must have been created as a class project. Self-initiated projects are not eligible.

IMPORTANT: A. I. Generated or Assisted art is NOT ELIGIBLE for this competition.
