It’s not often I get to illustrate stories that either take place in or are by creatives from the Philippines, so I am extra engaged when the opportunity arises, such as this one. The Sacrifice is about how an island oasis in the Philippines turns deadly when a terrifying legend threatens to kill off an American film crew one by one in this haunting novel.
