Dancers explode onto the stage at the opening of my zine picture book, ‘And Now,’ a semi-narrative collection of images set at an uncanny circus cabaret. This image is the result of a desire to loosen up my process, trusting in the strength of a composition to pull together all the swirls and doodles I tend to make while just sketching.
