Working on Russian Tales has been sentimental to my heart as it’s a nostalgic reflection on my childhood. I grew up with a Russian grandma and read these stories as a child. The book has been published before the unjust war in Ukraine. I’m deeply saddened about the aggressive political regime in Russia these days, I feel the culture and the folklore is beautiful, but the government has to be replaced sooner than later.
