Medium: Sumi ink and comb (A digital print is shown in the exhibit since the original was sold)

The Lucky Tiger series celebrated Lunar New Year 2022 and was my way to send well wishes to friends and family. I used sumi ink and a comb to create tigers with their own unique personalities which were manifested through their expressions, and the movement of their stripes. The poster child of the series is the adventurous Water Tiger (shown here), while others were patient, playful, giving or joyful.
