Virtual Saturday Stories with Original Art 2024 Silver Medalist, author and illustrator Lian Cho
October 26 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Presented monthly, Saturday Stories invites guest illustrators to lead children and their adult companions in a read-aloud workshop related to the wide range of materials and processes that illustrators use to create their picture books.
Join author/ illustrator Lian Cho in her Brooklyn art studio, with her rib-tickling picture book, Pig Town Party, about a young girl who receives a mysterious invite to a Pig Town party and follows the trail into a secret world of pigs–where epic parties, chase scenes, and a cake heist soon unfold! Lian will present behind the scenes about how she became an author/illustrator, read her funny book, share how she wrote the story, her illustration process, about creating an ending for the book and designing a good picture book cover. Have your drawing materials ready to draw along as Lian draws and paints her piggy in her style! Visit her at liancho.com Good for ALL ages 5 and up!
