April 19 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Meet acclaimed illustrator Audrey Helen Weber in their studio in Massachusetts for a behind the scenes look at their wonderful illustrations and inspirations for creating Gwendolyn and the Light written by Susan Yoon. Audrey will read the book and then participants can follow the live drawing workshop, The Shapes of Nocturnal Animals! Audrey will lead everyone through drawing a simple animal, choosing large or small body parts along the way to make a unique species of mysterious nocturnal creature, showing how changes to Gwendolyn’s face make her have different feelings and expressions! Materials needed are paper and your preferred drawing implement!
Good for ALL ages 5 and up!
