Virtual Saturday Stories Featuring Multi-Award Winning Illustrator John Rocco
May 17 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am
Presented monthly, Saturday Stories invites guest illustrators to lead children and their adult companions in a read-aloud workshop related to the wide range of materials and processes that illustrators use to create their picture books.
Join John Rocco in his studio as he shares his process for creating illustrations, and his unusual path to becoming an illustrator. He will then read his wonderful book, Wild Places written by Hayley Rocco using his best David Attenborough impression, followed by a drawing exercise where you will learn to draw a “wild place” using simple shapes and lines!
