$10.00 – $35.00Meet French author and illustrator, Arnaud Denis for an exciting bilingual and colorful board book workshop! Arnaud will read his latest book, Miaaam! and two more books, Le Loup and Ouiii! showcasing his dynamic visual storytelling. Arnaud will share a behind-the-scenes look at his illustration process and then lead a creative workshop for participants to design colorful board book pages of their own!
All art materials and a signed copy for each family of Miaaam! are included. Good for kids ages 4 and up. Also for illustrators interested in learning about creating board books.
$35 includes admission and workshop (including signed book and art supplies) for 1 adult + 1 child. One book per family. Additional siblings are $10/each.Â
About the Artist
Arnaud Denis is an author and illustrator of children’s board books. Specializing in visually dynamic storytelling for toddlers! His books are published in the Loulou & Compagnie collection by L’École des Loisirs. He has written and illustrated ten books, including Ouiii!, Vous êtes fou, monsieur le loup, and recently, MIAAAM!. Arnaud studied graphic art and design at the École Boulle, Paris then worked as a sculptor for film and opera. He is an art director and visual artist for fashion shows and cinema including Sofia Coppola’s awarded film, Marie Antoinette and Luc Besson’s Arthur and the Invisibles and recently was the art director for Coralie Fargeat’s award-winning film, The Substance.
Drawing remains his guiding thread—an essential means of expression for conceiving, imagining, and bringing his ideas to life. Arnaud splits his time between Paris, where he focuses on cinema, and New York, where he writes and illustrates children’s books.
