Liza Donnelly has been contributing drawings and writings to The New Yorker since 1979. She was a finalist for the James Thurber Prize for American Humor, holds an honorary PhD from the University of Connecticut and is currently a Visiting Scholar at Vassar College. Author of numerous books, her well-received history, Very Funny Ladies: The New Yorker’s Women Cartoonists, 1925-2022 is currently being developed into a documentary. She lives in New York.
Roz Chast is a longtime cartoonist for The New Yorker. She has published many books, including the New York Times best-selling graphic memoir, Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?, which won the New York Book Critics Circle Award and was a finalist for the National Book Award in 2014. Chast was inducted into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame in 2019. She lives in New York and Connecticut.
Emma Allen is The New Yorker’s cartoon editor and edits humor pieces on newyorker.com.
