Jimmy Li is the 2025 Eisner Scholar. Jimmy is a New York based comic artist and is currently a Junior at Pratt Institute. Ever since he was old enough to pick up a pencil, he has lived and breathed visual storytelling. As writer and illustrator for the webcomic, NIGHTHAWKS, Jimmy is interested in expressing repressed emotions and the beauty in the mundane on a large scale. Taking inspiration from film, personal experiences and the people he meets along the way, he hopes to connect to others out there through the medium of sequential art.
