SI MoCCA Festival is Manhattan’s largest independent comics and cartoon art festival. This multimedia event draws over 8,000 attendees and over 400 exhibiting artists that exemplify the limitless aesthetic and social power of comics and cartooning.
During SI MoCCA Fest, exhibitors display and sell their work at Metropolitan Pavilion (125 W 18th St.) and award-winning artists conduct lectures and panel discussions at the SVA Flatiron Gallery (141 W 21st St), mere steps away.
Exhibitors are eligible to enter the SI MoCCA Festival Awards of Excellence, also known as the M. Prize, an award given out to recognize the most outstanding works on view at the Festival in honor of Timothy Patrick Moynihan. Artists winning this award will be acknowledged on our website and receive a financial prize as well as a pen tablet donated by Xencelabs.
