Looking at Hockney’s iPad paintings and the changing aesthetic that is inherent as the medium changes. Similarly, For this series of narrative acrylic paintings, I wanted to preserve the look of a photoshop working file with the grey and white checkerboard pattern indicating transparency or otherwise a lack of image data. This series is about the decline of civilization via biblical allegory.
