Medium: Mixed media on wooden board including resin, plaster relief, oil paint, gold gilding, etc. Finally I used 3D modeling via computer to enhance the thickness of the relief and the glossiness of the gilding.
“Song of the Dolphins” is a healing story about the precious friendship between a dolphin deformed by marine pollution and an ordinary autistic child. That’s the reason why I used so many different techniques and materials on wooden board to create this painting/illustration, as I wish to convey the deep, mysterious, inclusive and warm blue poetic power of the ocean, and the precious gold-like friendship between the dolphin and the autistic child.
