I was asked during 2021to complete an emergency mural on the boarded up windows of the original Starbucks store in Seattle, after they were smashed in the night before. I improvised this piece on the plywood boards. While I was painting, passersby would come up and comment kindly about the piece and their care for the local community. The mural process was not only a catalyst for conversation, it was a positive moment after quite dark happenings. This digital version was commissioned afterward, for displaying in select cafes.
