What does FLOURISH mean to you?

Society of Illustrators Artist members (Illustrator and Illustrator-S) are asked to create an illustration any size or shape (but no larger than 18” x 24”) creating their depiction of what FLOURISH personally means to their life and/or the world.

A jury will determine the best among the entries to receive the Stevan Dohanos Award.

Important Dates & Guidelines

Deadline for art to be sent to the Society of Illustrators: October 1, 2021

Exhibit Dates: October 20, 2021  – January 1,  2022

Opening Reception: Friday, October  29, 2021

Who can enter: Any Illustrator or Illustrator-S of the Society of Illustrators.

Deadline: Art must be received by the Society by October 1, 2021.

Guidelines for Art: Art is required to be framed and ready for hanging. It is up to our Members to represent the Society at the highest level in this exhibition, which will be viewed by the public and all the remarkable art communities of New York City. Art may be created in any medium including oil, watercolor, digital, collage, etc. Work must be framed with wire on the back ready to hang. The Society will be using safety clips to secure art to the walls. For this reason we request wood frames.

Email exhibitions@societyillustrators.org to receive the Artist Agreement. Agreement must be filled out before work can hang in the exhibit.
