Comics Art Workshop with Jayme Brodie

January 21 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Meet Jayme Brodie for a 2-hour workshop open to teens. Students will learn about the basics of how composition affects storytelling. Exercises range from making miniature picture book-esque zines to adapting prompts into single page comics. Students will gain a better understanding of sequential art and the comics medium, all with an emphasis on telling a complete and clear story rather than a perfect one.

Meeting in the 3rd floor library.

REGISTRATION: $30, all materials included. Limited to 15 students.
