Please join Wacom at the Society of Illustrators on Friday, March 2nd from 6:30PM to 9:00PM, to celebrate the arrival of their latest flagship creative pen displays – the Wacom Cintiq Pro 24 and Wacom Cintiq Pro 32. There will be plenty of food and beverages to keep you energized throughout the evening as well as a variety of new products to sample. The new Cintiq Pros feature exceptional design and engineering to create the best pen-on-screen experience to date for the next generation of artists, designers and illustrators. About the Artists:
Heather Steckley is a NYC based, award winning vfx and motion graphic designer with over 15 years of experience. She has created original designs and animations for HBO’s various channels, Cinemax, CNN, and more. She has a background in fine art which strongly influences her approach. Her skill set includes look development, production and animation for short form pieces as well as digital sculpture for 3D printing and jewelry design.
Jason Chatfield is an Australian cartoonist and stand-up comedian, based in New York City. At 23 he became Australia’s most widely-syndicated cartoonist, appearing daily in over 120 newspapers in 34 countries. His art spans the disciplines of comic strip, gag cartoon, editorial cartoon, book illustration, caricature and commercial art. His work has appeared in The New Yorker. At 26 he was elected President of the Australian Cartoonists’ Association, making him the youngest person to hold the position since the organization began in 1924. He currently serves as Vice President of the National Cartoonists Society.
