The Society Presents! Outer Limits/ Dinner + Movie

Enjoy a night of classic science fiction horror while feasting on a tasty all-you-can-eat buffet supplied by The 128 Bar & Bistro. The Society will be screening two episodes from the 1960’s hit “The Outer Limits” in our main floor gallery, which currently features some of the greatest fantasy masterpieces of our time from The Korshak Collection: Illustrations of Imaginative Literature

“The Sixth Finger”
A scientist develops the means to advance the eveolution of a man by 20,000 years. The process then continues beyond his control. The man who is evolving encounters police officers and says to them: “Your ignorance makes me ill and angry.” This episode originally aired October 14, 1963.

“The Bellero Shield”
A scientist builds a powerful laster device, but the invention is not practical enough to satisfy his demanding father who views his son as a failure and has made plans to hand control of the Bellero company to someone outside the family, to the great chagrin of the scientist’s wife. A take on Shakespeare’s Macbeth, this episode aired on February 10, 1964.
