Saturday Stories: Illustrator-led Workshops for Children & Families : Featuring Brendan Wenzel

January 18

Join us for our monthly program for children and their adult companions that includes a read-aloud story and related hands-on workshop led by an incredible list of children’s book illustrators! Select books by the illustrator, a small snack, and all materials are included with the price of admission. Pre-registration required.

What is your favorite place? Join author/illustrator Brendan Wenzel as he discusses creating his new book A Stone Sat Still, and the real place that inspired it. Afterward, grab crayons, paint, markers, cut-paper or anything that calls to you, and work with Brendan and the rest of the group to create a collaborative mixed media illustration featuring all of our favorite places.
