SATURDAY PICTURE BOOK SPOTLIGHT featuring author and illustrator Victoria Tentler-Krylov

The Society of Illustrators welcomes incredible illustrator and debut author Victoria Tentler-Krylov featuring her hot off the press picture book The High Line: A Park to Look Up to. A mile-long roller coaster?  A lap pool? A trolley that rolls along the tracks? Or a park, full of green trees and singing birds? Find out fascinating facts about Manhattan, New York’s High Line, as Victoria reads her beautiful book and shares how she writes and creates art for her picture books. During the workshop participants will draw inspiration from the High Line park and will create their own ideas for the elevated railroad tracks that were used to build it. All art materials and a signed copy of High Line for each family are included in this wonderful Saturday Children’s Program.

All materials are included. Good for ages 5 and up.

$35 includes admission and workshop (including signed book and art supplies) for 1 adult + 1 child.  One book per family. Additional siblings are $10/each.
