Virtual Saturday Stories: Monthly illustrator-led workshops for children & families: Featured Artist Frank Morrison

February 20 @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Presented monthly, Saturday Stories invites guest illustrators to lead children and their adult companions in a read-aloud and hands-on workshop related to the wide range of materials and processes that illustrators use to create their picture books.

Join picture book illustrator Frank Morrison as he reads from his picture book, Respect, Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul. Following the story time, Frank will lead an art workshop to demonstrate how he creates the pictures in his books.

This program is free to attend. Thank you to The Bruce J.Heim Foundation for supporting this event. Their generous gift and belief that books play a vital role in the development of a child’s imagination and dreams greatly aids our educational programming for K-12 students.
