Presented monthly, Saturday Stories invites guest illustrators to lead children and their adult companions in a read-aloud workshop related to the wide range of materials and processes that illustrators use to create their picture books.
Join Zoe Persico for a reading and behind the scenes look at how she created her illustrations for her picture book Georgia’s Terrific, Colorific Experiment. Learn about the power of colors and how they help convey emotions and imagination! Zoe will be demonstrating how she picks colors to illustrate different characters and scenery. Participants are encouraged to have paper and either paint, crayons, and/or colored pencils.
Good for all ages 5 and up.
