CITY KIDS presents SKETCH NIGHT featuring NYC artists @kittyyorkk and @miirandamusic, modeling their performance looks. DJ set by @o.negativ.e_ , highlighting the model’s original music.
Doors will be open 6-9 pm, poses will be from 6:30-8:30 pm.
City Kids is a volunteer arts collective dedicated to enacting transparency, accessibility, and integrity in the arts through high-quality events that feature CITY KIDS; artists, venues, organizations, and audiences whose early lives were formed by New York City. We believe in expression over profit, socially involved and responsible programming, and bringing people together in a welcoming, joyful environment.
We feature artists who are city kids. This means, simply, people who were or are kids in this city. We do not aim to be exclusionary but to highlight the environment, communities, and traditions (those we share and those we do not) that formed us and continue to form each generation of city kids.
Through our events we invite anyone from anywhere to be in conversation with the creativity of city kids, thereby fostering authentic community building amongst New Yorkers and visitors to our city alike.
Chairs and sketch boards will be provided, but artists should come prepared with their own art materials.
Guests are also invited to enjoy their favorite cocktail at our bar.
Please note, doors for this event will open at 6:00pm. No outside food or drink.
