Inside Bill Plympton's Head
Wednesday, January 20th 6:30 - 8:30pm

Bill Plympton will share his successful career as an independent animator as he shows his classics and brand new shorts, talks about the creative and business aspects of his work and draws live. Every attendee will get a free Bill Plympton drawing. The lecture will begin with Get to Know Bill Plympton (5 min.), a Sundance documentary.

The Fan and the Flower: (7:10 min.)
An ill fated romance between a fan and a flower. Story by Dan O'Shannon (Frasier).

Horn Dog: (4:30 min.)
The misadventures of a plucky canine.

Santa, The Fascist Years: (3:25 min.)
Uncovers and explores Santas flirtation with politics and greed.


Mexican Standoff: (3:30 min.)
Conflict between a Mexican bandit and a frontier woman is a metaphor for the battle between the sexes. Music by Parson Brown.

Pencil Test for "Cheatin'": (10 min.)
Pencil test for Plympton's upcoming full-length feature film. Music by Nicole Renaud.

Cow Who Wanted to Be a Burger: (approx. 5 min.)
Work in progress. Music by Corey Jackson and Nicole Renaud.
