The Society of Illustrators Presents the "Annual Exhibition: Illustrators 52" The Museum of American Illustration at the Society of Illustrators presents "Annual Exhibition: Illustrators 52," a three-part exhibition featuring works from leading contemporary illustrators worldwide. Selected from more than 4,600 submissions by a panel of renowned illustrators and art directors, 417 images by today’s foremost illustrators and animators will be on view from January 6 to March 20 in the museum’s galleries in New York City’s Upper East Side.

"Now in its 52nd year, the Annual Exhibition is the premier international showcase for illustrators and animators," said Anelle Miller, Director of the Society of Illustrators. "We’re honored to host this remarkable event, which celebrates the most outstanding illustrative works created by our colleagues in the past year."

The three-part Annual Exhibition begins on January 6, with "Illustrators 52: Sequential and Uncommissioned Exhibit," a collection of the year’s best multi-image projects. On January 27, the "Book and Editorial Exhibit" commences, featuring original images commissioned by magazines, newspapers and books. The Annual Exhibition will conclude with the "Advertising and Institutional Exhibit," opening on February 20 and displaying works created for advertisements and promotions. Featured artists of the Annual Exhibition include Anita Kunz, Lou Beach, Orit Bergman, Leo Espinosa, Edel Rodriguez and Brian Stauffer.

Opening Receptions will be held for each part of the Annual Exhibition on January 8, February 5 and March 5, respectively, beginning at 6PM at the Society of Illustrators. Each reception will feature Awards and Certificate Ceremonies and refreshments, and is open to the public.

Tickets are $30 for members, $35 for non-members and $20 for students.
